Who he is
Max Rayden founded Major Mixing in 2019 and still mixes and masters on it — he is not a name on a website while somebody else does the work. Records he has finished have passed 400.2 million streams, have taken track of the year in several countries, and one of them carries a Latin Grammy nomination. Those are the artists’ awards; his part in them is the mix.
The studio he runs has put 11,000+ projects through the same room since 2019, with work released through Universal, Warner, Sony, Spinnin’ and Fool’s Gold. He is an Apple Digital Masters certified engineer and works as a Dolby Atmos approved provider — two things that are checked by the platforms, not claimed by us.
He is also the one who built the business around the room. Fifteen years across creative, digital and e-commerce companies — several of them built and scaled end to end, through strategy, hiring, marketing, finance and delivery — and a remote team of ten to fifteen people running today. That is why a Major Mixing project reaches an engineer already prepared: files checked, references collected, brief written. Their hours go into the mix instead of the admin, and that is where the price comes from.
He writes the studio’s articles, teaches its production course, and takes client work every week. If your record comes to Major Mixing, it is mixed by him or by Ivan — not by a marketplace and not by a rotating pool.
